The director of 'Wonka' will make a film about Labubu ()

The director for a feature film based on a popular designer toy line has been named. Film company Sony Pictures has launched development of a feature film based on the Labubu toy series and has brought on director Paul King, known for the films Wonka and Paddington, to the project. The project is in the early stages of production, and King will serve not only as director but also as a producer on the picture alongside the studio Department M.
