Christina Hodson has been tapped to write the screenplay for the upcoming DC Studios film "The Brave and the Bold," which will focus on the relationship between Batman and Robin. While official confirmation from the studio is still pending, insiders report that work on the project has been underway for several months.

The film will be directed by Andy Muschietti, known for his work on "The Flash" and other superhero projects. Producing duties will be handled by DC Studios heads James Gunn and Peter Safran, who are overseeing the development of the new cinematic universe.

Hodson was reportedly brought onto the project late last year. However, the studio plans to begin production later to avoid overlap with the filming of Matt Reeves' standalone project, "The Batman – Part II."
