Streaming platform Wink has officially announced the completion of production on the series 'After Fisher: The Inquisitor' and unveiled its complete cast. The new season continues the story of the acclaimed detective drama 'Fisher,' which gained massive popularity for its dark atmosphere, psychological depth, and gripping narrative.

The lead roles in the sequel are played by Alexander Petrov, Yulia Snigir, and Polina Gukhman. The project once again relies on a strong dramatic ensemble and complex characters, which has become the hallmark of the entire franchise.

A Stellar Ensemble Cast
Joining the central cast are Igor Mirkurbanov, Nikita Pavlenko, Taisiya Kalinina, Bayastan Koldoshaly, Dmitry Pavlenko, Anna Ryt sareva, Artyom Osipov, Stanislav Ustyuzhanin, Sergey Sharovatov, Diana Ogay, Seydulla Moldakhanov, and Anna Zdor.

A special surprise for fans of the franchise will be a cameo appearance by Alexander Tsoi, the director of the second part of the franchise, who previously worked on the series 'Fisher: The Eclipse.'

The events of 'After Fisher: The Inquisitor' unfold in contemporary Russia. The investigation begins in a small town in Altai, where the body of a daughter of a high-ranking local official is discovered on the edge of the taiga.

Initially, the crime appears to be an isolated, tragic incident. However, investigators quickly realize the murder might be connected to an old series of brutal crimes committed by the infamous Barnaul maniac, who managed to evade justice.

The narrative centers on two investigators with different backgrounds and approaches to their work: Belov, a local detective, and Terekhov, an investigator who arrives from Barnaul. Their joint investigation gradually turns into a complex psychological duel with an invisible adversary.

As the investigation progresses, all clues unexpectedly begin to point toward a mysterious girl. Raised in complete isolation deep within the taiga, she leads an almost feral existence. This character becomes the key to solving the case and simultaneously the most unsettling element of the entire story.
