The civil case was set to be heard in October 2026, but after the parties reached an agreement, the proceedings were officially halted.

The plaintiffs were three men who alleged that the actor committed unlawful acts against them between 2000 and 2013.

Details of the Allegations
One claimant alleged he was subjected to harassment on multiple occasions in the early 2000s. Another claimed psychological trauma and financial losses following an alleged incident in 2008.

One of the lawsuits was filed as early as 2022, but its consideration was delayed while the criminal case against the actor was ongoing.

Spacey Was Previously Acquitted
In July 2023, during a separate criminal trial in London, Kevin Spacey was found not guilty on nine counts of sexual offenses.

The actor consistently denied the allegations brought against him throughout the proceedings.

One of the accusers, Ruari Cannon, previously waived his right to anonymity and participated in the documentary Spacey Unmasked, where he spoke about an alleged incident at the Old Vic theatre.

According to Cannon, the actor engaged in improper conduct during a party following a performance in 2013. Spacey described these claims as untrue.

Following the documentary’s release, the actor stated that whenever he had been given the opportunity to defend himself in court, the allegations had not been substantiated.
