Vin Diesel Announces Start of Filming for Fast X: Forever
The final chapter of one of the most successful action franchises in cinema history has officially entered production. Vin Diesel has confirmed that work on the eleventh Fast & Furious film is now underway, while thanking fans for their years of unwavering support.
After several years of development, the production team has begun filming Fast X: Forever, which is expected to bring the story of Dominic Toretto and his family to a close. The film is scheduled to hit theatres on March 17, 2028, and is being positioned as the epic conclusion to the long-running blockbuster saga.
Vin Diesel Shares First Look from the Set
In a video posted on social media, Vin Diesel gave fans a glimpse of the production and confirmed that filming is now in full swing. The actor said the entire team is focused on delivering a finale worthy of the franchise's legacy.
According to Diesel, the last three and a half years have been dedicated to preparing the concluding chapter. He thanked fans for their patience, saying their continued support motivated the cast and crew throughout the lengthy development process.
The actor also expressed hope that the final film will meet audience expectations and provide a satisfying conclusion to a franchise that has entertained moviegoers for more than 25 years.
Balancing Other Projects
During his message, Diesel revealed that while preparing the new Fast & Furious film, he also worked on several other projects, including Rock 'Em Sock 'Em Robots, which is being developed in partnership with Mattel Studios.
In addition to starring in the film, Diesel is also contributing to its screenplay. Even so, he stressed that completing the Fast & Furious saga remains his top priority.
A Franchise That Became a Global Phenomenon
Since the release of the original The Fast and the Furious in 2001, the franchise has evolved into one of the most successful film series of all time. Over the years, it has expanded from stories centred on illegal street racing into globe-trotting action adventures packed with international missions and spectacular set pieces.
