Tom Cruise Calls Christopher Nolan's The Odyssey “F***ing Awesome”

Hollywood superstar Tom Cruise has shared his enthusiastic reaction to Christopher Nolan's The Odyssey, calling the epic adventure "f***ing awesome" after attending an IMAX 70mm screening.

Cruise watched the film at an AMC theatre, where eyewitnesses said he made his opinion clear almost immediately, repeatedly praising the movie as "f***ing awesome" throughout the evening.

A Special Screening with Theatre Staff

According to those present, Cruise originally intended to attend a regular screening but arrived too late. Rather than skipping the film, he arranged for a separate showing.

After learning that several theatre employees had not yet seen The Odyssey, Cruise invited them to join him. Instead of watching alone, the actor enjoyed the screening alongside members of the cinema staff.

One employee later described Cruise as relaxed and approachable, saying he came across less like a Hollywood icon and more like a genuine movie fan. Throughout the screening, he reportedly reacted enthusiastically to key moments, discussed scenes with those around him and openly shared his excitement.

Cruise Was Blown Away by Nolan's Epic

Witnesses said the film's final act left a particularly strong impression on Cruise. During several of the climactic scenes, he joined the audience in applauding the action unfolding on screen.

Throughout the screening, Cruise repeatedly described the film as "f***ing awesome," expressing his admiration for Nolan's direction and the work of the entire production team.

He later reinforced those comments on social media, publicly thanking Christopher Nolan, producer Emma Thomas, the cast and everyone involved in bringing the film to life.

Cruise added that he thoroughly enjoyed the experience and is already looking forward to watching The Odyssey again.
