The film 'Avengers: Doomsday' will have four trailers.

Disney is preparing an unusual marketing campaign to promote the new Marvel Cinematic Universe film.

The Disney studio intends to use a non-standard approach to advertising the comic book adaptation Avengers: Doomsday. As part of the campaign, four different versions of the trailer will be shown in theaters, becoming available to audiences sequentially over four weeks.

Collectible Approach to Trailer Screenings

Each trailer will be shown for only one week. This means viewers will see different versions of the previews depending on which specific week they attend screenings of the film Avatar 3: Fire and Ash, to which the trailers will be attached.

In this way, Disney aims to create a "trailer collection" effect and encourage repeat cinema visits.

Focus on Theater-Exclusive Hype

There is no word yet on when the trailers will appear online, and this is part of the strategy. The studio seeks to maximize the benefit of the exclusive theatrical screenings and increase public interest specifically in big-screen viewings.

The first trailer will debut next Friday. Subsequently, each new version will be released alongside each successive Friday of Avatar 3's run: the second one closer to Christmas, the third around New Year's, and the fourth the week after that. All four trailers will be shown exclusively before screenings of Fire and Ash.

Doctor Doom and the Return of Robert Downey Jr.

According to the official Marvel Cinematic Universe mythology, the film will feature Doctor Doom — a character combining scientific knowledge and sorcery. He will be portrayed by Robert Downey Jr.
